Mustard Seed Restaurant

It’s hard not to be seduced to visit The Mustard Seed when the restaurant is a destination in itself. Head Chef Angel Pirev carefully creates his menus to reflect the availability of ingredients with each season while creaming the benefits of having a working kitchen garden behind the house. The busy dining room welcomes residents and non-residents and has long been highly acclaimed for attracting lovers of good food and fine wines from all over the world.

In the grand reception rooms of this stylish country house, we pay tribute to the pleasure of fine dining using carefully pressed white table linen, antique silver cutlery, colourful Vileroy and Bosch delph and flowers picked fresh from the garden - all to create that sense of occasion. We have created an unpretentious, relaxed environment for you to enjoy dining with renowned hospitality and exquisite food. After dinner, you’ll want to sink into a sturdy sofa by the real log fire and never return to the real world again!

Dress code – jacket and tie is not required. It’s not stuffy but pack your smartest casuals!

Ernie Whalley, The Sunday Times - ‘If the congeniality of the welcome and the ambience are two good reasons to dine at The Mustard Seed, chef Angel Pirev’s cooking is the third, streets ahead of the average country house offering.’
